togliere l’interlinea doppia nelle didascali delle immagini

non riesco a togliere l’interlinea doppia impostata per tutto il documento dalle didascalie delle immagini della mia tesi. Per impostare l’interlinea doppia ho utilizzato \linespread{2.4} sul main ma non so come toglierlo alle didascalie. il risultato è che le didascalie occupano più di una pagina! aiutatemi a risolvere questo dilemma! plz!!
