Ho trovato una discussione nel forum di BerliOS che risolve un mio problema,
seppure in modo poco confortante:

Firefox/3.5b4I’ve recently installed the MinionPro package according
to instructions, and have gotten most things to work.
However, it seems that my version of the font (v2.030)
has some new things that break parts of the package; in
particular, the dotlessj files are empty since the
newest revision of the font already has that character
defined. I’ve managed to fix this problem by just
dublicating the normal files and renaming them with the
appropriate *LCDFJ.pfb files (so at least now I can
compile and view the dvi file, although with warning
messages). There are other things that are broken too,
however, that I cannot see a workaround for: $\ell$,
and $\openg$ no longer map to the correct character and
I only get a box with a cross through it.I see that there are updated maketfm files for v2.030,
but since I have no access to a linux box to compile, I
was wondering if you could release the appropriate
updated windows files? I can provide my version of
Minion Pro if you would like.

oppure con autoinst, anche se ricordo che una volta
ero riuscito a installare dei font che includevano il loro greco
