Evidentemente non hai letto L’Arte di scrivere con LaTeX, altrimenti sapresti che cosa vuol dire file principale.

In due parole tu puoi comporre un documento scrivendo tutte quello che hai da scrivere dentro un solo file, che evidentemente , essendo l’unico, è il file principale, visto che non ce ne sono altri; se invece scrivi un documento molto lungo ti conviene spezzarne il sorgente in diversi file, di cui uno è quello principale perché contiene [tt]\documentclass e \begin {document} e \end {document}[/tt]; gli altri file, evidentemente secondari, non contengono queli comandi ma un solo capitolo per ciascuno, o anche parti di minor dimensione, e vengono incorporati nel file principale mediante dei comandi \input o \include.

Ma senza voler salire in cattedra come al solito, ti consiglio di leggere una buona guida; quella che ti ho indicato sopra si trova in questo sito nella sezione Documentazione. Poi quando avrai le idee più chiare potrai leggere anche guide diverse, o le guide tematiche che trovi sempre nella sezione Documentazione. Guarda bene nella striscia nera sotto l’intestazione del sito.

Allora, ho scaricato dal sito di Lorenzo i vari archivi compressi corrispondenti ai due modelli di tesi e di articolo. Ho provato a comporli. Mentre Tesi Moderna e i due Articoli non danno problemi, tranne che per la codifica di Tesi Moderna, che continua a essere [tt]applemac[/tt], componendo Tesi Classica, che è quella che riscuote il maggior successo tra gli utenti, ottengo quando segue:

Quindi, mi consigliate di abbandonare TesiClassica? Perchè nel topic che mi hai linkato qualche post fa credevo di aver capito avessero risolto..

In alternativa, abbondando il pacchetto, mi spiegate come utilizzarne almeno delle cose?
Mi interessano prevalentemente il font (sia del corpo/capitoli/paragrafi che quello matematico), lo stile dei titoli dei capitoli (con il numero grande in grigio e il nome, per intenderci) e la testatina (n°pagina in alto con richiamo del capitolo).
