questo pacchetto fa una bella cosa:

e in più permette di aggiustare a mano il posizionamento quando i l isultato è esteticamente scorretto, creando classi di caratteri corretti, etc.
la doc è all’inizio del .sty e ne consiglio la lettura perché descrive qualche possibile problema e rimedio.
