Re: Curiosità su font di “Guide to LaTeX”

Ho installato quel font.
Nelle istruzioni però leggo anche:

Configuring VTeX/Free:
Make VTeX read the additional font map (“aliasing”) file
ulg.ali. This is usually accomplished by putting a record
for this file into each of the configuration files

texmf/vtex/config/pdf.fm
and
texmf/vtex/config/ps.fm

“ulg.ali” is to be added to the TYPE1 section of the
above-mentioned files:

TYPE1 {
…
ulg.ali
}

Si tratta di un’operazione necessaria?
Con altri font che ho aggiunto no navevo mai trovato
un’indicazione di questo tipo…
