Dunque, sembra che sul mio mac [tt]georgian[/tt] non ci fosse… in ogni modo:
cerco;
trovo http://blog.gmane.org/gmane.comp.tex.hyphenation/page=3 in cui c’è scritto sostanzialmente che georgian non è più inserito in babel perché l’autore è un fantasma;
vado su ctan http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/language/georgian e scarico il pacchetto;
copio (credo con ordine) tutti i contenuti delle cartelle nelle relative cartelle che ho nella mia texmf (udpmap.cfg ovviamente non lo copio ma aggiungo a mano la riga [tt]Map djg.map[/tt]
);
eseguo la procedura di installazione della guida: texhash;updmap; updmap-sys (tutti sudo!)
non funziona, e non ricordo che errore mi dava;
riapro la guidafont, guardo su come installare nuovi font ed eseguo: mktexlsr; updmap-sys (tutti sudo)
