Re: problemi con le impostazioni della numerazione

My problem is: how can I exclude stage directions and characters names from the verse numbering? (sorry for my bad English…)

Example:

First character:
(aside)
verse
verse
verse
Second character:
verse
verse
verse

My text with edelmac counts 9 lines, but I would like it to count only the “verse” lines.

Since all stage directions and character names are introduced in the package Dramatist by “StageDir” or “direct” and “characterspeaks”, do you think it could be possible to create a new command to exclude all “\StageDir”, “\direct” and “\characterspeaks” from the line numbering?
