Errore aggiornamento “sutlmgr”

      Ciao a tutti, torno dopo un po’ a chiedere il vostro aiuto per un errore in fase di aggiornamento.

      Copio la parte finale del log; come si intuisce il tutto è avvenuto su Linux Ubuntu con installazione fatta tramite la guida di Enrico Gregorio.

          Non mi preoccuperei più di tanto, ma se vuoi eliminare il messaggio d’errore fai quello che c’è scritto nell’ulima riga di quello che ti ho riportato.

          Il problema nasce dal fatto che nel scorrere il file [tt]/usr/local/texlive/2011/texmf-config/web2c/updmap.cfg)[/tt] il programma che serve per creare le mappe globali dei font non ha trovato le mappe per i font csother, cstext e ntx. Qindi il messaggio d’errore è più un avviso per segnalarti che forse non hai accesso a certi font. Se ti interessano quei font, controlla bene che che quei tre file .map esistano sul tuo PC; nel caso fossero nelle cartelle sbagliate, spostali nelle cartelle giuste e aggiorna il file name data base mediante mktexlsr; rilancia da super user updfma-sys e riprova; se l’errore persiste, ma se le mappe esistono rilancia da superuser updmap-sys –syncwithtrees.
          Se invece quei file di mappa non ci sono controlla ene che i pacchetti che si riferiscono a queli ofnt siano stati caricati bene e/ricaricali.

          Fossi in te, io mi preoccuperei della mappa dei font ntx; si tratta dei nuovi font che sono documentati nel file newtx (texdoc newtx) che permettono di usare i times extended separatamente per il testo e per la matematica con i pacchetti newtxtext e newtxmath. Insieme ai newpx (per i palatino extended) sono pacchetti da usare bene e con profitto.
