Pacchetto Guitar: ricerca e sostituzione del testo

Salve a tutti,
leggendo la guida del pacchetto Guitar trovo scritto:

The command

\guitarPreAccord

is expanded before the actual chord is typeset: You can change this
definition to e.g. modify the font used for the chord. By default, this
command contains a \strut which ensures that the lines with chords
usually all have the same height.
The macro \guitarPreAccord may also use and modify the macro

\guitarAccord

which contains the actual chord which is then output (you may use this
feature to e.g. calculate a modulation in \guitarPreAccord or to
replace the text of \guitarAccord by some graphic equivalent).

Io uso al momento una semplice formattazione degli accordi tramite:

`\renewcommand{\guitarPreAccord}[1]{\sffamily \footnotesize \color{blue} #1}`

ma mi piacerebbe che gli accordi avessero l’aspetto di quelli del pacchetto Songbook, con l’eventuale nota del basso scritta più piccola.

Visto che si parla di “calculate a modulation” o fare un “replace”… Secondo voi come si può fare? Io non ho la minima idea di come si facciano replace in una macro già definita.
