      Caro Enrico,
      onestamente, non tutto va per il meglio, perché non sempre le note sono formattate correttamente. Ti allego un esempio compilabile e il pdf:

      \indent For the third type of interpretation of $O_1$ in $\mathbb{C}$ Schr\”oder refers to Hermann Hankel’s {\it Lectures on the Complex Numbers and its Functions}~\footnote{Schr\”oder does not give the exact coordinates. Most probably the reference is \cite[p.~67 and ff; p.~86 and ff]{hankel}.}:
      \begin{quotation}
      […] let us assume, that the product of real numbers and imaginary units is associative and commutative~\footnote{As in the case of $O_1.$} and that the distributivity law is satisfied in the form $(a + b)i = ai + bi$, so that the name ‘product’ could right be ascribed to the connection $ai.$ We further assume that $a + bi = bi + a$ and we define the sum by it:
      \begin{equation}\notag
      (a + bi) + (c + di) = (a + c) + (b + d)i~.~\footnote{[…] nehmen wir an, dass das Produkt reeller Zahlen und imagin\”ar Einheiten associativ und commutativ sei und das distributive Princip in der Form $(A + B)i = Ai + Bi$ erf\”ullt werde, so dass der Verkn\”upfung $Ai$ mit Recht der Name ‘Product’ zugeschrieben werden kann. Wir nehmen weiter an, dass $A + Bi = Bi + A$ und definiren die Summe durch:
      \begin{equation}\notag
      (A + Bi) + (\Gamma + \Delta i) = (A + \Gamma) + (B + \Delta)i.
      \end{equation}

      \noindent \cite[pp.~67–68]{hankel}.}
      \end{equation}
      \end{quotation}

      \noindent Equipped with such addition, $\mathbb{C} = $~\footnote{$S$ is here a set of complex numbers.} is another possible semantics for $O_1$. For the case $4\alpha)$ we may quote again from Hankel’s volume:
      \begin{quotation}
      If one will carry over the concept of the usual numerical addition to the addition of points in space, then it is first necessary attaching a coefficient, a weight (so to say), to the points, in order to transform them in quantities, which are capable to be multiplied or divided by real numbers $\alpha$, and to distinguish a simple point $p$ from a point $\alpha p$, multiplied $\alpha$ times, taking into account that both $p$ and $\alpha p$ occupies the same place in space. This way it is possible expressing the sum $p +p$ of the same point $p$, taken two times, as $2p.$ […] To sum more points, one must performe this operation more times, in force of the following definition:
      \begin{equation}\notag
      \alpha p + \beta q = (\alpha + \beta)r~\footnote{Notice the formal similarity withe addition on $\mathbb{C}$ given above.},
      \end{equation}

      \noindent where $r$ lays on the line $\overline{pq},$ such that the next ratio holds:
      \begin{equation}\notag
      \overline{pr}:\overline{rq} = \beta:\alpha~.~\footnote{Will man den Begriff der Addition auf Punkte im Raume \”ubertragen, so ist es zun\”achst nothwendig, den Punkten, um sie zu Gr\”ossen zu machen, welcher einer Vervielfachung und Theilung nach reellen Zahlen $\mathfrak{a}$ f\”ahig sind, einen Coefficienten, ein Gewicht beizulegen und den Punkt $A$ als einfachen von dem $\mathfrak{a}$ fachen Punkte $\mathfrak{a}A$ zu unterscheiden, wobei man sich beide an derselben Stelle im Raume zu denken hat. Dadurch ist es dann m\”oglich, die Summe $C + C$ durch denselben Puntk $C$, aber doppelt genommen, also $2C$ auszudr\”ucken. […] Um mehrfache Punkte zu addiren, wird man diese Operation mehrmals auszuf\”uhren haben und so zu der Definitionsgleichung:
      \begin{equation}\notag
      \mathfrak{a}A + \mathfrak{b}B = (\mathfrak{a} + \mathfrak{b})C
      \end{equation}

      \noindent gelangen, wo $C$ auf der Geraden $AB$ so liegt, dass die Strecken
      \begin{equation}\notag
      AC:CB = \mathfrak{b}:\mathfrak{a}.
      \end{equation}

      \noindent \cite[pp.~113–114]{hankel}.}
      \end{equation}

              Ho usato questo codice che ho incorporato di default nel pacchetto \endnotes:

                Ti ringrazio, ma non funziona. In questo modo, i numeri di nota rientrano, ma il testo delle note ha perso la sua formattazione. Io volevo i numeri come nell’allegato con il testo formattato in quel modo. Per questo, ho rimandato all’altro post. Perché lì mi avevano suggerito dei comandi per ottenere quel risultato. Cosa che in effetti, mi è riuscita. Io volevo solo spostare la linea dei numeri e del testo delle note verso destra. La linea h1 non va mai oltrepassata.

                Grazie,

                davide

                          Provo a spiegarmi con un esempio: vedi allegato. Vorrei che la linea h3 rientrasse verso destra fino a coincidere con h1, mantenendo inalterata h2, con la testatina che include h3=h1 — h2. h2 non dovrebbe spostarsi. Ovviamente, la formattazione del testo andrebbe conservata.

                            Mi dispiace. Purtroppo, quando dico che non il codice non ha funzionato intendevo dire che dopo il suo inserimento non è cambiato niente. Ho provato a mettere il codice tra \makeatletter e \makeatother per proteggerlo, ma non è cambiato nulla lo stesso.

                            Provo a rispiegarmi. Il testo è largo 13 cm e i margini destro e sinistro sono identici. Il filetto è lungo esattamente come il corpo testo. Il mio problema era che i numeri di nota venivano scritti nel margine sinistro fuori dai 13 centimetri. Io volevo che i numeri venissero scritti nella parte del documento dedicata al testo, sottraendo a questo dello spazio. In altre parole, volevo che nel caso delle note a fondo testo, tutto (note e testo) venisse compreso nei 13 centimetri e che il filetto non si restringesse. Esattamente come succede in automatico con i numeri delle formule che vengono scritte nel body del testo e non nei margini.

                              Grazie, ma a parte che non funziona. Io non voglio modificare lo spazio tra numero di nota e testo della nota, ma lo spazio tra il margine sinistro e il numero di nota. In altre parole, vorrei spostare tutto il blocco delle note create con \endnotes verso destra, mantenendo a destra lo spazio tra la fine del blocco e il margine destro, riducendo il blocco delle note in orizzontale.
