    Alcuni comandi sono presi da http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/dandelin-spheres/. Il “guaio” è che il disegno è fatto ad hoc: per creare più ellissi è necessario sia cambiare le definizioni di [tt]\h[/tt] ed [tt]\a[/tt] che l’angolo di inizio e fine ellisse (nel mio esempio da [tt]-45, 225[/tt]) più la corrispondente coordinata ([tt]-0.91[/tt]).

    Per dirla tutta, l’approccio funziona, ma sulla sua validità non scommetto molto.

    Secondo me devi riconsiderare la tua idea iniziale. Che io sappia, ma magari mi sbaglio, se si decide di inserire un blocco in cima al frame con posizione <3> automaticamente in <1> e <2> verrà lasciato dello spazio vuoto perché il testo c’è già (anche se non si vede).

    ma non saprei proprio come realizzare l’ellisse così come compare in figura. Il modo con cui si possono tracciare archi con [tt]TikZ[/tt] non mi piace molto: non è possibile farlo specificando semplicemente centro, raggio e angoli di partenza e di arrivo. Ci sarebbe il pacchetto [tt]tkz-euclide,[/tt] ma non ho trovato nulla che permetta di fare ellissi. Insomma, non so come risolvere questo problema. Qualcuno sa come farlo?

    Temo l’allegato non sia stato caricato. In ogni caso in TikZ esiste la parola chiave [tt]ellipse[/tt]. Ti allego il codice di un esempio in cui la uso con qualche prova di shading 😉

    E se uno volesse disegnare un grafico 3D di un linea tridimensionale o di una superficie ma volesse riferirsi a coordinate cilindriche o sferiche invece che cartesiane?

    Ancora: un utente potrebbe volr fare un disegnino per illustrare il teorema di Pitagora: un triangolo rettangolo con tre quadrati costruiti sui lati, opportunamente colorati. Io non saprei farlo. pgfplots può fare queste cose? Non lo so! TikZ può fare queste cose? Scommetto di sì, ma io non saprei farlo.

    Con qualche giorno libero non potevo non approfittarne ;)…

    Partiamo dalla sfera: ho trovato un esempio bellissimo Plane Sections of the Cylinder – Dandelin Spheres; riducendolo al minimo si può ottenere:

    Non sono esperto di 3D quindi sono sicuro che si potrebbe migliorare (impostando ad esempio linee tratteggiate per paralleli e meridani nella parte non in luce della sfera). In questo caso però non si utilizzerebbe pgfplots.

    Passiamo invece ad un esempio in cui viene usato pgfplots: TikZ: How to draw a sine curve in 3D? (si veda la seconda risposta).

    Siccome esistono già esempi in 3D non banali, sono convinto che da qualche parte esistano anche delle macro sviluppate per usare come riferimento coordinate cilindriche o sferiche.


    Per quanto riguarda l’articolo, invece, ho notato che non si parla di integrazione con Gnuplot (e quindi compilazione con -shell-escape), ma non mi ricordo se era stato deciso in partenza di non dire nulla a riguardo.

    …e io che stavo lì ad aggiungere spazi a destra e a manca per centrare il testo… 😆

    P.S. La footline non simmetrica è perché il titolo è un po’ lungo e non volevo accorciarlo di 1 o 2 parole… è di cattivo gusto, dici?

    Io personalmente la preferisco simmetrica, ma è un parere personale. Quando i titoli sono troppo lunghi, puoi usarne la forma breve con:

    Nel codice del template [tt]footline[/tt] troverai un [tt]\insertshorttitle[/tt] che è esattamente il comando per inserire il titolo breve se presente oppure il titolo lungo (quando non c’è un titolo breve).

    Ho dato un’occhiata al tuo risultato. 🙂

    Quello che non mi convince è la footline (non simmetrica, ma credo sia voluta giusto?), mentre la soluzione nella headline mi piace. Per trovare proprio il pelo nell’uovo, anche qui cercherei di “centrare” nella box la numerazione (credo si possa fare facilmente inserendo un center nelle opzioni della beamercolorbox). Ottimo lavoro comunque! 🙂

    Ciao,

    prova a leggere l’Introduzione alla personalizzazione di Beamer che trovi nella sezione del sito Documentazione->Guide Tematiche e cerca i comandi \insertframenumber e \inserttotalframenumber. Dovrai inserire questi comandi nel template headline.

    😳 Avevo scorso troppo rapidamente il filone intervento e non mi ero accorto del tuo intervento.

    Il punto della mia osservazione in ogni caso, non era tanto sul numero di file impiegati, ma sull’estensione. Dal mio punto di vista l’utente finale non ha la necessità di sapere cosa sia un [tt].sty[/tt]: per caricare le impostazioni può usare, come nel mio intervento precedente, uno o più [tt].tex[/tt].

    lorenzo.pantieri” post=74552[…] dove impostazioni.sty è un pacchettino personale che contiene le impostazioni dei singoli pacchetti, i comandi e gli ambienti personali, e le impostazioni del documento.

    Onestamente non vedo la necessità di un pacchetto per caricare le impostazioni. Io per la mia tesi ho creato una cartella “personalizzazioni” con due files: [tt]comandi.tex[/tt] e [tt]pacchetti.tex[/tt]. Come dice il nome in [tt]comandi.tex[/tt] ci sono i vari [tt]\newcommand[/tt] mentre in [tt]pacchetti.tex[/tt] i pacchetti che mi servono. Nel main richiamo con:

    Ottengo quell’errore anche se metto la figura come unica cosa nel sorgente. Qualche incompatibilità? sidecap richiede ifthen, ma mettendolo o levandolo il risultato non cambia.

    Sono indeciso se mettere i miei diagrammi ER e UML nelle figuare o nelle tabelle.

    In quanto immagini sono delle figure ma dato che sono dei diagrammi e non dei dipinti forse si avvicinano più al concetto di tabella.

    Per quanto riguarda la legenda, è vero che se usi solo TikZ non puoi “chiamare” il comando [tt]\legend[/tt], ma nulla vieta di crearla ad hoc.

    Come diceva anche @spike, per capire i principi base del codice la miglior cosa da fare non è proprio andare a pescare degli esempi su TeXample o TeX.SE e modificarli. Potresti però trovare interessante la guida Introduzione all’uso di TikZ in Ingengeria nella sezione Documentazione -> Guide Tematiche. Altrimenti poi è facile dire:

    è un mondo a parte tikz….
